k1500 didnt start threaded fan clutches till 1996

You are correct. It just 4 screws plus 4 other screws holding he fan to the clutch.

correct, should all be 1/2". and of course youll have to remove the upper shroud which I think are 3/8" or 7/16"...its been a while since ive done one

Ok thx. Just went and bought a fan clutch. Wow, that thing barely spins. Granted, my current fan clutch isnt loosey goosey, but u can spin the fan with ur finger effortlessly. This new one (not installed yet) cant be flicked. U stop spinning it, it stops spinning. Hope this is my fix.
