    My car is 1 of xxx?

    So, I've been looking the other day at production numbers for 2009 Mustangs and have really only found the following information.

    Total Mustangs produced - 46,420
    Mustang GT Coupe - 13,359
    w/ Glass roof - 23.13% of GT Coupes (3,089)
    Brilliant Silver (UI) - 8.29% of GT Coupes (1,107)

    So, I know my car is 1 of 1,107, but not all Brilliant Silver GTs have the glass roof and some of the other options mine has.

    Does anyone know of a way that I can find out exactly how many cars were built identically to mine?

      It's very difficult to break down unless the factory does it for you. I would think that an '09 would have "packages" of options instead of just breaking down every little thing. My '95 GTS is in the same boat. Ford breaks it down only so far: Red, 5sp, cloth, etc. but not every little option.

        Ford doesn't break it down that far for me...The info that I have just breaks it down to GT/V6/GT500 Coupe/Vert, then each option as a percentage of the type (GT Coupe in my case).

        I know mine is 1 of 1107 Brilliant Silver coupes, 1 of 3089 with Glass Roof, 1 of 3839 with HIDs, 1 of 1383 with spoiler delete, and 1 of 3502 with 3.55 gears, etc. I'm just not sure how to break it down beyond that.

        I guess I will have to contact Ford and hope they will give me the info, which doesn't seem likely.

                You can back-into the numbers you want with the data you have. This will give you a number that can be close assuming (ass out of you and me) the data is homogeneous.

                Total Mustangs produced - 46,420
                Mustang GT Coupe - 13,359
                w/ Glass roof - 23.13% of GT Coupes (3,089)
                Brilliant Silver (UI) - 8.29% of GT Coupes (1,107)

                13359 X .2313=3090
                3090 X .0829 =256

                I think.....
