      It is the Intake Air Temp sensor. It is in the intake tube between the MAF and TB.
      First, get a different MAF and try it.

          ok we pulled the code again. it was p0320. i am reading it could be the crankshaft sensor but he said he changed that a while ago. are those common for going out?

            This. The sensor is there and controls the fuel mix. If it's killing over when you give it gas, it's probably flooding out -- too rich. My guess is MAF or the sensor.

              How can u test the maf sensor. I am leaning Towards the crankshaft sensor.

                P0320 - Ignition Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction The ignition engine speed sensor input signal to PCM is continuously monitored. The test fails when the signal indicates that two successive erratic profile ignition pickup (PIP) pulses have occurred.

                Things to check/replace:
                Crank sensor
                Loose wires/ connectors to the crank sensor
                Arcing secondary ignition components (coils, wires and plugs)
