I'd like to give a big thanks to the guys out at TrueStreet Motorsports. By far the best experience I've ever had with a performance shop hands down. Clint kept me in the loop every step of the way and Sean is amazingly patient working out tedious issues. I took them an unfinished project car that needed a bunch of little things worked out and they delievered big time.

The car runs great and will murder the tires as long as I want it to.

I HIGHLY reccomend Truestreet for any hot rod needs you might have. They work on everything, not just Mustangs. Sean is really good with LSx stuff as well.

    Thanks guys!

Bet it feels great to finally be able to enjoy it, hasn't that car been in the shop since the beginning of December? Congrats!

You said it has a Posi port, right? From what I've seen they make more under the curve than a Steggy.

As Clint said, I was able to take it home before. But I intially took there after I bought at the end of November. This is the first time since I've owned it I've been able to drive it under boost and it's a little beast, lots of fun to drive.

Yeah, it's got a Posi. I'm not famliar enough with ported cars to answer that question. I do know that both companies have very loyal followers though.

yep, need to get it to the track asap. trying to get it inspected without paying 80-100 bucks (I know, gotta pay to play, but it only needs a 'safety inspection' and it only lacks windshield wipers so paying full tilt seems a little rich for my blood, i'd just put the wipers on but the cowl has been flushed and with et streets and a spool the least of my worries is going to be wipers, i'm considering either having sarah take it or bringing a gas station squeegee with me and seeing if the inspector has a sense of humor). next up is a good nitrous cam and nitrous kit for it. would love to see something around 550rwhp in a light coupe.

That is awesome, having put together a swap car I can say that I'd hate to hack into someone else's build. If I ever sell mine the next owner is going to be lucky, I was super methodical with my wiring, most of it is from Painless so the wires are labeled ever foot or so, and those that are not I kept the factory wiring color throughout and labeled each wire that connects to outside sources under the loom for troubleshooting sake. There are a million places for someone to mess something up, I spent a lot of time doing mine, but it payed off when it cranked the first try (only issue in retrospect was I had o2 sensors plugged in the wrong bank).

Once I get some squeeze (or hell, even before), I'd love to run your swap car. I've just got a coupe with a Caddy motor in it

It's definetly been a learning experience. Even though it's worked out, I don't think I will ever buy someone else's project car again. Definetely a test of patience that I don't care to do again. lol.

I wouldn't say ever again. Now you know little odds and ends that you didn't consider or think about asking, before you bought it. That'll help tremendously with future investments like this one.

Remove the windshield and put a loner set of rims and tires on it. You don't need wipers if you don't have a windshield.

Let me know where you end up taking it. I need a place that will will do my LSx hybrid car. Mine looks like a plain jane mustang with cobra wheels, nothing too racey.
