Electronic project box source?

I'm finally getting close to getting my CNC electronics ironed out and it's time to source a project box. I'm pretty sure it will wind up bieng a custom box, but I thought I'd post up here for any ideas. Somethings that may work would be like a server enclosure, maybe a control station for who knows what.. ideas?

Truthfully, I might even put a pc inside of the box too - in order to cut down on space consumption/wiring clutter. something like this:

Frys used to sell a box very similar to that but in black. I havent been there in years though so I'm not sure if they still carry it but it might be worth a shot.

ya know, judging by the pc power supply specific cutout, I'd say that's what that is... I was gonna head over there today at lunch and check it out.

Hit craigslist and post up that you're looking for old Server Towers, 3 bays or more. You should find some for stupid cheap if not free. I just threw 3 away last week. I have 1 more tower left but it's staying till it burns down. Perfect for a 120v to 12v power supply, switch, etc.

Brooks, I saw a Popular Mechanics rag a few months ago take a Craftsman 24" wide 5-6 drawer tool box base and turn it into a mobile workstation and main box. There shit was a liquid cooled set up that was pretty nice. They cut fan openings in the face of the drawers and put a grill over them to keep the big debri out. It was pretty trick. The drawers make a nice place to hold everything from small printers to the keyboards etc.

It'll look a lot cleaner than a PC case, and really isn't that expensive.

This isn't a bad idea either, I might have to check into this.
