  • replace SS brake line?

I was working on my car and stupid me set the brake caliper with the SS line attached on the A arm (not tied up), well, of course i knocked it off and the brake line caught the caliper before hitting the ground. there seems to be no damage to the brake line, think it will be ok since it was a stainless steel braided line? or should i replace the line?

If you put it back together and pressure it up and it doesnt leak...its probably fine. I promise you are not the first one to let a caliper slip and be caught by the brake line!

I've done it with rubber lines and it was still fine, you should be good with the SS lines

It'll be fine... just keep an eye on it until you verify it's not leaking... I've done the same with rubber.
