Sounds like you build some bad t5s, is the case ever an issue?
G Force < A5 gear kit all day long.

I typically use the stock cases and just set them up a little on the tight side.

Its a good kit but steadily increasing in price. This unit ran $2625 with the upgraded mainshaft, 3-4 billet keys, Spec 2 26 spline clutch disc and shipping to Colorado. I supplied the core as well. Its going into a Fox body with a Afr 205 headed 393W thats a fun little street car from what I've been told.

At 1200 rwhp in a 3700lb car, you really should look at the full race type units offered through Liberty Gear, G Force or Jerico. These will be designed for pure durability, wont come with an overdrive gear and carry a nice fat price tag. Your other option would be a T56 Magnum with a oil injection system on it but thats a stretch for a true 1200 rwhp 3700lb car on sticky tires.

that's what I thought. My tko has ran a few 9 second passes so far on my lower settings but it also wasnt hooking up. I'm sure when I get my traction problem figured out it'll break.

A TKO might live at those levels for a little while but with good traction you will probably rip the teeth off the input shaft and cluster gear. 3700 lbs is rolling pretty heavy for that kind of horse power. I would look into the highly modified 4L80E if you want to keep an over drive in it.
