      New pick up and still turned off,

      All i have left to change is ignition relay and after that computer.

      Any other suggestions

        This is more than likely your problem. My son's 85 F150 just had the same problem.

            Did you pull the distributer? If so, did you resit the timing?

            If yes to both of these, check the ignition switch. If it looks burnt, then this could very well be it too. Its the next place I'd look.

                Truck finally threw check engine, took it to vatozone, cranks sensor and coil, coil is new under warranty but still going to replace and doing crank sensor too

                  Well still no dice,
                  New cap
                  New rotor
                  New pick up
                  New crank sensor
                  New coil

                  Truck will still die when it feels like it,

                  What else do i have left to change?
                  Im thinking computer or igition switch?

                    Igition switch as I stated before. Just pull the stering column and take a peak at it to see if its burnt.

                      I tried hot wiring from positive to coil and made no difference but ill check tomorrow, drove it today worked perfect, got to my parents and wouldnt start pops had to bring me home

                          I've had bad ignition modules and voltage regulators right out of the box
