Trickflow stated that you can run up to an advertised duration of 290 with their heads on stock pistons. Many of the more common entry level cams will work with this. I would look for one that would help across the RPM as Brooks stated.
Something as simple as the F303 from Ford has shown some very positive results to say the least. More than likely due to it being a single pattern cam and its lobe separation.
As stated above, the b cam with the 1.7's will get you similiar lift numbers, but the timing events will not be the same.
