I need to swap my ECM out for a known good one to verify if my ECM has a problem or if its wiring..it appears I have lost the ground pulse to the 2-3,3-4, and 3-2 solenoids in my tranny and the shop I took it too suggested I swap a known good ECM to see if it fixes the problem before I start tearing apart the harness. Already swapped the transmission thinking the tranny had gone out only to have the same problems with the new one. The car is a 94 Trans Am A4 (4L60E). I was told the ECM is the same on the 94-95 LT1 Camaro/Firebird, Corvette, and possibly from any of the full size LT1 RWD GM cars (Caprice,Impala SS, Roadmaster). If anyone has one please let me know...this is something I can test in about 20 minutes and I can even drive the car up to test on-site so I don't have to take your ECM with me.
