  • Where to relocate the act sensor?

    Where do i relocate the act sensor on the 97 explorer intake? i have read you can tap it into the lower intake but i dont want to do that ive been told it can be by the tb somewhere. any pics? so i have an idea.

    just drill a hole in your stock air box or CAI and put it there.

            i dont want a sensor in my cold air.i wanna keep it clean lookin under the hood. do u know what size it is to drill and tap it?

              yes, your cold air intake tube, unless you still have the stock air box.

              I don't remember offhand.

              For a long while I had my sensor tapped into my CAI. Then I switched to the stock airbox and installed the sensor in it. Both ways can look clean if done right.
