  • Manual brakes Road race

Cleaning up the engine bay on my 95gt and while I am at it I was planning on converting over to the Maximum Motorsports manual brake kit. Should I also get rid of the ABS or just forget the manual brakes and keep the booster. Car will mostly be a street car but would like to do a couple oen track events at homestead.

Do the best of both worlds. Use ABS on the street. If you want non-ABS for some reason,
put an adjuster in the line to the rears and disconnect the pump....

Keep the ABS...round tires are nice especially if the track if bumpy and you are using street tires.

Personally, I'd keep stock M/C...manual brakes are NOT fun out on track unless it's the full on Tilton pedal setup with properly sized M/C's and balance bar.

Stock works fine...don't screw with it.
