Disassembly question?

I'm pulling my engine apart, and I was wondering if I needed to un-torque the heads (trick flow track heat) in any certain order? Also is it required to resurface them? Thanks for the info.

Loosen from the outside to inside... Torque from the inside to outside.

Resurfacing wouldn't hurt but is not necessary if the heads are clean and straight.
