What is a good small truck with good gas milage & pull a small lawn trailer

I've got a '91 GMC Sonoma with the 4.3/700r4 that consistently gets around 18-20 mpg on my 40 mile round trip to work and back, and that's taking 75 to George Bush to the tollway.

I've gotten 25 mpg out of it on a trip to and from OKC with the cruise control set at about 65-70 and just taking it easy.

The only things that are done to it are K&N air filter and no cats with a single Flowmaster. It's also lowered quite a bit. It has more than enough power to pull a small trailer too.

Get a 2001 s-10 with the v-6. I got 20 mpg with that truck and put 140k miles and not once did it go into the shop. Great little truck with power and good mpg.

Those guys are onto something. I had some guys come to my local scrapyard looking for nissan hardbody stuff, i had 4 parts trucks and they were offering me top dollar for the stuff i had. They took everything but the cabs of these trucks. Later they told me all this stuff was going to Mexico, where nissan shit is gold over there. should've told them a higher price. Ended up getting a grand for some junk i had laying around. Nissan hardbody Seb, if you can find one in that price range. I pull a small 6x10 lawn trailer and have no problems and get close to what you want as far as gas mileage.
