edit
try holding the gas to the floor and cranking when it is hot. if it starts then change the ECT
What grounds should I check?

I just printed out a troubleshooting guide that goes through spark, fuel a bit closer, I'm going to verify 100% those, and check my grounds.WRX

Is it not starting because it has no fuel or because it has no spark? We need more information. What's the fp when you turn the key forward? The ECT sensor was lilely the problem with it not restarting when hot, but now there is another problem. If you have at least 32# of fp whith the key on then check for spark. If you have spark then see if the injectors are pulsing. You can buy a cheap clip on noid light for that. If they are not pulsing then you likely have a bad ECM. If they are pulsing then I don't have a clue. You need spark, air, fuel and something should happen.
Dont waste you time with the MAF meter if it won't even fire off. Its easier to attach noid light and a fp gauge than it is to swap an ecm.

Fuel. Pushed the schrader valve, lets out a pssst. So pressure is building, but no fuel is leaving the gas tank. Turn the key, hear the walbro running for a sec or 2. Checked back to the fuel filter, dry.
I dropped the tank, thought maybe i wired the walbro gss307 backwards. It looks good. Positive going to the fuel pump (brown/pink) is lined up with the + going to the walbro so I'm 99% sure it is not wired backwards.
Any suggestions besides bad fuel pump, this thing is brand new.WRX

I'd pull the in-line pump out of the equation, and see if it will start with the in-tank pump. That will at least rule that pump out as the issue, or confirm that it's the problem if the car starts and runs.
A thought just occured, are both pumps on the same fuse, and is the Walbro wired through the inertia switch in the trunk? If the Walbro isn't running through the inertia switch, I'd check that before touching anything else. If that popped, the in-tank wouldn't be running, the Walbro would be pressurizing the line, but not get enough fuel to start the car.

I have the pump wired back up outside the car in a container with gas, I'm testing it.
Do you still have your stock pump to test, if the Walbro doesn't run outside the tank? That would verify that it's the pump for sure, or indicate the line isn't being powered properly.
Be very careful about accidentally grounding something, spark and gas fumes mix all to well.

So very strange. I tested the walbro (reversed wiring and back like I had it) confirmed back like I had it was correct. The test worked. I didn't change anything, and I'm sure my links were good as they were soldered. So I have fuel pressure, went to crank it and it cranks for a few minutes, bucks and dies out. Crank again, starts, revvs a bit, then dies.
I pulled code and I am getting code 212 now. "Ignition module circuit failure/SPOUT circuit grounded."WRX
