  • epoxy ?

    i got a tractor (old) that has a pin hole on the injection pump. does anyone know something stronger than jb weld to cover this. i tried jb weld and it held up for a couple of hours but i need something stronger. we dont use this tractor much so patching it up is what we want to do right know. the old man thats owns it dont have the money to fix it right. just trying to help him.

    not really intended for this, but its badass stuff. Ive seen bedsides glued on with it (no welds)

          Where is the pinhole at? If it's near the high pressure lines, nothing will hold short if brazing it and even then you have to be careful not to braze it shut. You can't just run a screw in the injection pumps, some parts only have 4 millionths of an inch of clearance, you close it up and parts get expensive quick. If you can send a picture of where it's leaking, I can probably tell you how to get by for a while. I have done diesel injection pumps since '88 lol.
