                      So are you trying to reach a certain et goal or just bolting on parts for the sound effects and lowering for the visual impact?

                      Headers are a waste of money with stock heads.
                      You will need drop beams, shocks, shackles and hangers to get that drop you want. I would just do springs, and shackles to save about $600.

                      Bassani O/R mid pipe, and catback for the exhaust.

                      intakehoses.com and make your own CAI. There is no improvement in et with anything larger than 3" pipe.

                      Mark VIII fan is a great addition, but you will need a 130 amp alt if you plan on running AC at night.

                      Punisher VB offers a great performance feel but not really any et gain. Great mod though for trans longevity.

                      If you don't tow then a 2800 converter would be ideal and be the best bang for the buck if lowing the et is your goal.

                      Small dry NOS kit would be the last mod, and a great bang for the buck.

                      Do all that and it would run high 12's to low 13's on a 125 shot. You would still have the stock tb, intake, heads, cam, and factory headers.

                        Sounds like I got a game plan then. I would like to break into the 7s but won't be heart broken if it doesn't happen. This is just something I always wanted. And mike you and Jim will probably only be the two that's faster and I'm in a truck. Mustangs are a dime a dozen. Let me get this L where I want it and rest assured I'll be in another mustang soon enough.

                          You will need 500 fwhp to get the truck into the 7's or roughly 375rwhp. So basically you need to add another 250hp. It's going to require a Supercharger, turbo, nitrous, or a stroker. You can do it with a stock longblock and 15#'s of boost or heads, exhaust, stall, and 9#'s of boost. There is a Vortech T-Trim setup on nloc for $2600. You will still need injectors, and a tune. I figure $3500 should get you all set up as far as the poweradder. You will still need drag radials($375-$450), stall converter($600-$1000), Punisher VB ($200). So about $4500-$5500 with 15#'s of boost. You could do it with less boost, but need to factor in a $1000+ set of aluminum heads. I would also consider a roller cam upgrade even if it's a stock 5.0 HO camshaft. I'm also sure the stock valvesprings arent ready to handle 15#'s of boost.

                          NA option is 408 stroker, Eddy Vic Jr heads or AFR 185's, RR's, Stock GT40 intake, Longtubes, custom cam, MAF Conversion, 3000 stall, elec fan, 3" dual exhaust. You could probably get away with speed density and a SD friendly camshaft if you were to use a 75-125 dry shot. That would get you solidly in the 7's.

                              Cool I've got the hook up for converters. I can have one built for around 200 and I would prefer boost fed over bottle fed.

                              Again this isn't gonna happen over night cause my budget is currently limited but I appreciate the reply Diabolic. Expect some future pm's from me lol

                                FWIW, I have never seen a converter that's more than 10.5" be worth a damn in these trucks. So stay away for the 11" or 12" no matter what they have done to it.
