Picking up a Gen 1 in march

so whats the widest tire that will fit in the ass end and/or what size tires did you guys run on the stock wheels? the truck calls for 275/60/17s on all four corners but i cant find a decent performance tire at a reasonable price....most of the tires i find are shit brands or just your run of the mill SUV tire
