    What company builds Harley/ lightning motors

    I grenaded my Harley motor and would like to get a built one, but am having a hard time finding a good company for a good price.

    Lightning motors specifically the '01-'04 5.4 SOHC motors are not cheap, they are built with forged internals and most aftermarket will bullet proof them and use premium parts.
    I would contact JDM Performance in New Jersey, Jim D'Amore was the premier guy building Lighting motors back in the day. I personally went to his shop to have my Superchip tuned using his software, my '02 'L' was a beast with bolt-ons and his tune, I made 410hp/525tq to the wheels.

    I saw a rebuild kit for right at $2k, not bad imo...
