Are you trying to say you can get 500rwhp out of a mod-swapped fox cheaper than you can get it from just making a SBF push 500rwhp?

And people wonder why the facepalms fly in here...

      Pushrods rape ass on nitrous.

With a 320 to the wheels I can break 7s at the track.
With 500 to the wheels I can break 6s.

Plus eaton swaps can be had for cheapppp

I know that if I want more then 500hp I better get a new block if I stay pushrod.

        And please, show me a 500hp n/a 302.

        Oh wait it's a 2011 dohc. Doh!

          Now you're talking about N/A to N/A...

OK, so you're going to spend how much on your 2011 5 litre mod PLUS the fabrication and install?

Earlier, you were saying you could do a eaton'd mod cheaper than a pushrod motor. And that is a negative too.

If you want to do the swap, fine, but leave the bullshit out. Just do it because you want to, but it won't be cheaper.

            I don't want a 2011 5.0 lol

The process its self won't be cheaper.

But making power after it's in there will be cheaper.

Built Mach with eaton. <3. sleeper.

I want 500-550ish with a OEM blower. If I want a kb or whiling later on I could damn near double my power and still be safe.
If you've got enough money (in cash) to build a forged modular 4v engine, and a KB to go with it, you need to buy a damn house. $5-6k is a down payment where you live.

                  Hey there buddy.

I'm not doing it this this weekend.

Did you miss the post where it said building a solid chassis first?

I'll peice it together over time.

Oh so throwing money at 40 year old technology is?

                    Give me a fucking break.

Who said anything about a kb from the get go anyways.

I don't know how many times I have to type n/a first.

Fuck you people have selective reading.

Sounds like this will be a high-dollar project. What's your budget?

You brought a KB into the discussion, not me. Also, let's assume you somehow figure out how to fund this build. How do you plan to not wreck this car, when you couldn't handle it at stock 5.0 power levels?

Well I plan on building it. first trip out I plan to try and hit a tree.

I can handle the power level.

                            I couldnt handle the stupididty.

                                Set up a "built" chassis

Buying a 4v mod from a Mach 1 (and everything needed for the swap)

Installing the mod motor and everything needed for the swap

Buying the parts to modify the mod motor for 500hp (including the blower)

Installing those parts (including the blower)

Seems like $6-7K is shooting a little low, don't you think?
