The car stuff can be cheap, you can get a ls1 intake for 40-50 (ls6 300) rails and injectors for about 50-75. then tuning software for 450 or so. Its a catch 22 on them, you can retune yourself with either a carb or the software.
Next question is will the truck accessories fit?Texas Fastest Streetcar Shootout
2008 Spring : 13.00 index Champion
2008 Summer : Fastest Street Car Runner Up : 13.00 index Champion
2008 Summer KODFWS : Runner Up

Anyone that's looking for a tune or engine work look up SQR in Benbrook Daniel is a great guy. Check out the torque line on the dyno sheet. 6.0 block forged rods pistons. Hellfire rings 5.3 stage 2 Patriot Heads w/ Dual Springs Fast 90 intake ported by vengeance racing PTM 92MM TB 42LB Injectors 90MM MAF Underdrive LS7
Fairly easy setup. That wont break the bank. You dont need the Fast intake just get a ls6 intake for around $250 and port a stock TB.
I'm going to pull my heads, intake and cam soon to go with a L92 setup. But, you have to watch PTV clearance with the l92 setup on a 6.0. L92 wont fit on a 5.3
