Need a recommendation for a someone/shop that does auto AC work

Does anybody have any recommendation for a someone or a shop that does auto AC work and knows what they are doing? I had some work done to the AC because a line got damaged, but the shop didn't even replace the drier.

I would like to get it evacuated properly and refilled before the moisture in it causes damage.

Both of those companies are awesome and know their stuff from geothermal and otherwise. I recently had Fannin replace my geothermal unit and they were great. All Seasons, he is a one man shop - but a very good dude and he has done work for friends and they are happy with it. He could not compete price wise for the hardware itself being small - so it just boiled down to cost for replacement.

You can't go wrong either way. (All season is based out of Denison/Pottsboro - Fannin is Mckinney)

Is the system cooling properly? It is a good idea to replace the drier when the system is open but unless there is debris everywhere you don't always have to. As long as they actually pulled a vacuum for half an hour it's probably okay. Believe it or not I've seen shops charge systems without pulling a vacuum and of course the systems don't cool very well.

It seems to be cooling pretty good. Maybe not quite as good as before, but that may just be me fretting over it. The line/system was cracked open for a few days on the undriven truck before I sealed up the leak with some silicone to keep dirt and moisture out. Then, I took it to him and he fixed it. I noticed on the invoice that he didn't list the drier and I asked him about it. He said that it didn't need to be replaced because he vacuumed it down really well. That just seems to go against a lot of what I have read about the importance of replacing the drier any time the system is opened. Maybe I am worrying for nothing.

You should be fine if you didnt get debris in there and he vacuumed it down long enough.
