Run the Victor Jr. the performer is a pos, it's so close to a stock intake it's not worth the trouble. I have a 351 in an old truck w/ ported '69 heads, small cam, msd,lt's,and a nyutten 750. It had a performer from an old set up and I changed it to a Vjr. just for grins(and a 175 shot) and it ran better from top to bottom. Hell it even had better throttle response. W/ any cam your above a performer and the b w/ 1.72s is 510 lift and 224 at .050. w/ your gears and a 5 speed your fine. RPM air gap, maby.

Were talking about a 302 not a 351. Good luck to you op.

It's still apples to apples, we're just talking intakes. The performer 302 is a smaller version of the performer 351w. Same with the Victor jrs. If we were talking heads that would be different, btw performer rpm's would be bitchin w/ that combo.

Rpm's , 165's or tfs would all be great but not in the budget (YET) .

I deff plan on some alum heads in the future, but for now the gt40s and vic Jr will suffice til I can stack some bread for heads and maybe a 100 shot, I don't plan on beating john force with this setup or anything...lol...just a nice street /weekend track machine to have some fun with...

A new set of RHS pro-actions is $572 assembled, and that's without price-checking anywhere else:

I'd bet money they outflow GT-40's, and are streetable.

With that setup you should be a solid 12 car.. With a 100 shot 11.9's should be attainable.. My previous car had gt-40x heads, f cam, 1.6 rockers, bbk ssi intake, long tubes exhaust, 3.73 gears, 70 tb, 70 mass air and 5 speed. On motor it ran 12.7's at 104 pretty consistently, and with a 90 compucar kit would run 11.8's - 11.9's at around 113 mph, car still got mid 20's mpg on the highway.. The victor jr isn't the ideal intake but much better then the performer option.. Be sure to get the tune correct and you will have a fun ride!!

yeah my goal right now is to get into the 12s....and 11s eventually after some eddy performers or tfs wedges and a 100 shot...
