I've done the swap a couple of times on stock and mildly modified cars, and for the cost, time invested, and performance gain it's hardly worth it when you look at where the aluminum heads are. As well, you're going to get 10 times better design and power potential for your dollar with aluminum, not too mention the fact that you're knocking 50 pounds of weight off the front end versus GT40 cast iron heads. To each their own though, it's his money and I'm not knocking him if he goes with GT40 heads, but from someone who has done this a few times it's just easier to bypass the urge to use 18 year old Ford technology when you can have much newer technology for a few more dollars.Big Rooster Racing

I've got a set of aluminum SVO heads with the blue SVO rockers I'll sell for $700 if you want to meet in texarkana. They were pulled from a lower mileage stock motor and you'd be fine to bolt them on a motor and go. I took them on trade for a set of TW heads I had laying around.
I've gone 12.1x with gt40 irons, cobra intake, stock cam, drag radials, and a AOD in a mildly gutted car. Would have gone 11's with a better stall. Car weighed 3,190.

For sure man! You have a stock blocked, GT40 headed, B303 setup which dictates an idle to 6250rpm band at best. Why would you throw a HUGE intake that makes power from 3500-8000rpm on it? Do you like torque? You will have none with that intake/cam combo and it will be a dog. Just trying to help you out. You don't have to spend a bunch to make good power... You just need to make sure everything is working together. Below is a little GT40p combo from my kids old setup. GT40p (thumper springs), E303, 1.7 rockers, GT40 intake, around 9.5:1 compression. Notice how it's not still pulling past 5500. I realize you have a B303 but that just means you'll have even less torque over the setup below and not enough top end to utilize that vic jr. Just trying to help you out bud! I'd also have those GT40's cc'd and mill them to get your compression up to the 10:1 range. Cheap and effective.
