  • O/R pipe on car, Dallas area exhaust shop that'll swap mufflers

I just need 2x mufflers installed (Flow orig. 40 series), but having trouble finding exhaust shop that will do it because car has O/R h-pipe, any recommendations?

    Thanks!

bolt on or weld on? If bolt on, do it yourself.

Weld preferred in this case, trying to keep the existing over axel portion and tips.

To DIY would need to order a whole axel back section, then still make a trip to the exhaust shop to swap the tips on, so ideally would just like to make 1 trip to the exhaust shop for the whole job

Not in Dallas, in Red Oak.

          Terry's Muffler Shop

He's done all my exhaust work since the 80's.

Try brian at muffler king on garland rd.

and find something other than flowdisasters.

Not on a pushrod 5.0 man, I DGAF how bad they perform, I love the sound.

I mean, I have them on the 69, but I think he might be talking about a supercharged new edge car, and that needs some flow.

Oh, well yeah... doesn't sound the same on a newer engine either.

same, its making all the power a stock bottom end 4.6 should anyway, so not a pursuit for max power going with the 40s

yes it is, so far it's done around 400/400 with the quieter flow masters on it, so just trying to improve the bark a bit, likely stay in the same power zone.

                        thanks! will check in here.

Honestly I'll probably just end up adding 2 high-flow cats for long term no hassles, I was literally just looking for the quickest solution (busy week and week ahead for me)
