i have an 2003 mustang gt and i am wanting to drop the back. The previous owner said it could be lowered even more, so i assume that it has aftermarket springs. i noticed it has two spacer like brackets that can be ajusted or removed. is this correct?

I'm guessing they wanted to raise it up or keep it from bottoming out but that is a lame way to do it. Putting those in changes the spring rate (it actually makes it into 2 springs in series) and also puts a lot more stress on the springs where the brackets are.Atlantic Blue '00 - '03 Cobra motor and TKO600, solid axle, full MM suspension
