How hard is this to do on 99-04 mustangs? my boot and handle are looking like crap after 10 years, i want to replace them, but it makes me lazy thinking about it , if it requires a ton of work.

Can't be that hard, go pick up a Chilton or Haynes.. You should have one if you ever expect to work on your own car anyways. That's the first thing I do when I buy a vehicle I expect to work on.
