You don't need a good reason to go with shiny pushrod Ford. Just have fun with it. Compression does seem awfully low for an NA build though.

Really not enough info in your post. Duration of the camshaft can change things a lot. In general, those heads are a little small and it is going to be sensitive to camshaft duration and exhaust. You should really have 1 3/4" headers and 3" all the way to the tail pipes if you want it to breathe. Throttle body size is very important as well.
If you are getting the air in and out of it like you are supposed to it will be very near your goal.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

Custom cam from flow tech inductions. 232/240 112 lobe sep
90mm throttle body, sct big air 3000 maf, 4" Pipe for the intake
I bought Accufab mid length headers with 1-3/4" primaries and 3" collector but they didn't fit well. So for now I'm running bbk shorties with 2.5" exhaust.
I'm excited. Hopefully Noah does a good job with it.
