2012 Ford Mustang GT upper seat recliner broke?

The front seat upper rear lever, the lever still there, but it just flips up and down, not catching. It has been making a stripping/clicking sound and it finally stopped working. Anyone have this problem and by some videos it looks like I have to remove the seat and upholstery to replace, anyone?
