  • DISC Brake Conversion- Power or non power?

Well, I am seriously considering a front disc conversion for the Camaro. Damn drums just feel a tad dangerous. Can't decide if I want to go with power brakes or stay with Manual brakes. Summit Racing has a complete kit. $500.00 for non power and $750 for power. Any thoughts on this? Anyone know a better price for a kit? TIA

How big is your cam? Will a power booster work with the vacuum that you have. If so go power.

That is always a crap shoot with the cams and power brakes. To be honest, I am not sure if this cam would be big enough to cause problems with power brakes.

Surely there's a hydroboost setup for first gen Camaros. My vote goes to that.

              This.

I went non power on my mustang, dont have an issue. Non power brakes usually have more pedal leverage built in, so dont try and mix and match setups.
