What diff fluid 01 GT

Just purchased a rear end for my car and can't seem to find the specs for the gear oil needed, are they all the same from 99-04? Will need the friction modifier as well correct?

Ford put out a TSB to change the recommended oil for the rear end to 75W140 and to add a bottle of friction modifier for the diff. (2 quarts of fluid and the 4 ounce bottle of friction modified is all you need)

Yeh 75w-140 full synthetic and friction modifier. I would by three quarts though it won't take it all but keeps you from having to make two trips

I used Ford Motorcraft 75w140 2.5 qts + 1 bottle of Motorcraft friction modifier. With a LPW girdle. It's expensive oil, but worth it.
