  • Dry nitrous kit on foxbody users in here.

Just out of curiosity, I'm wondering how many people here have ran bigger dry shots on EFI fox bodies, i.e. North of 200. I honestly want to run one of NX's plate kits but the are re designing them due to fitment issues I'm told.

So basically what I'm looking at doing in the mean time is getting the parts to put together my own dry kit and run it in the mean time as I'm not a fan of wet kits in the typical nozzle in front of the t/b style. (Bad experience)

Ive ran a dry kit on my 97 cobra with great performance and reliability but not on a foxbody. I had some dude telling me earlier today and I quote " That you can't run a dry kit on a 90 mustang because the fuel management software is too slow. You need to by a wet kit" When I tried to enquire further as to his line of thought he just acted like a dick so I'm thinking he's full of shit. After all the 5115 kit is a dry kit and they have been on foxes forever.

So just wondering what others experiences are with dry kits.

Also I've got a good fuel system, Glenn's performance sumped 03 Cobra tank, dual GT40 pumps, #8 feed line, #6 return, 42lb RC Engineering injectors that were recently cleans and flow tested.

Pm jetfast, or maybe he'll chime in... my buddies fox ran 7.2s with one of his dry kits, stone stock motor intake to pan.
