  • Flywheel Resurfacing

Where do you get a flywheel resurfaced? I suspect most machine shops would do it, but are there other options? Trans shop? O'Riellys? This is for a cheap build so I'm looking for a cheap quick solution.

I was going to try and resurface mine on my own but there is a fair amount of rust on it.

Called one nearby and they said no.

Also called a trans shop and they don't either.

My machine guy does them for $15 but were in west Ft worth. What i like about him is i can show up at 8-9pm and wait a few minutes while he does it and go home,no drop off and wait for a phone call.

15 bucks? Man I got hosed. I just took it to Plano Machine and the dude charged me 60. That seemed like the closest, easiest solution but fuck them for any more work.

The norm seems to be around $40. Ive been using this guy since 2003 and the price has stayed the same.
