  • Upholstery shop?

Not necessarily looking for "the hookup", but I do need some recommendations for upholstery shops that do great work.
I have a Driver's seat (Mark VII) that needs re-skinned and probably new foam.
I would prefer to go back with leather, but today's synthetics have gotten so good that it might be the way to go.
    Thanks in advance.

PG Custom Upholstery in Haltom City. Ask for Pedro. Tell him "Jared with the Explorer" sent you. Great work, awesome prices.

No matter what, stay far way from Herman's Upholstery in Arlington. A blind 2-year-old could do better work.

I can send you my guy's info. He works out of his house, is good, but not cheap. He knows his shit.

I will also throw out a vote for PG.

If you want the highest of the high-end, I would call Frank in Grand Prairie. They did conversion vans for years and now that that line of business has slowed, they are doing car work by appointment.

Frank himself doesn't have a website, but this is his son Frankie's website. They ship these incredible custom barber chairs all around the world. Sounds funny I know, but they make an absolute MINT off of these things. Check them out.

Xtreme upholstery in Denton does great work but they might be too far of a drive from you. They are near teasley and 35W

                            Thanks again for the suggestions.
I'll be stopping by the shop in Haltom City later this week.
