My advice would be to grind that area flat to about the size of a washer that would fit the bolt that is supposed to be there. Run a threadcleaner through the threads and then stack some washers to about the same size as the other protrusion and bolt it back together. Crossing of fingers wouldnt hurt to hope that it holds for a long time. Just my opinion though
