I'm actually impressed at the numbers on 10.5:1. Probably could go 11:1 and make 400 all the time. I have a similar combo but roller cam with a little more compression than you and a C4.

How you like the cam? Enough vacumn for the brakes? What hp did it make?

I'm using a trick flow cam in mine and it does well. I don't have any complaints.

My car is kinda a long story so I'll keep it brief. During the build I bought some used injectors off someone I didn't know and got burned on one of them, it was cutting out at 10% duty cycle when I had them cleaned. I had it tuned basically on 7 cylinders and didn't know it till it bit me in the rear. Engine put down 402/422.

I thought it would make a bit more hp but depending on cam specs it's hard to say. The last 347 i built was afr 185, 10.5:1, comp xe274 cam, victor jr fuel injected lower with an elbow and Accufab 90mm Tb, bbx 1 3/4 long tubes with 2.5 exhaust, 4" induction with a lightining maf it made 420/387 rwhp through a t56.

My car has a t56 also. 4:10 gears. Whenever there's a dyno day at a shop and cooler wheather i will take it and see what it does. At one time with the old tune it did 410/430. But i am happy, it runs really good. Just it hangs around 1200 rpm for a few seconds before it come down to idle at 900 rpm

I bet the gears are affecting the dyno numbers. Let us know how she runs at the track!!

Did you pick the parts and build this? Where'd you dyno it? I'm out in Crandall, and I have been looking for someone close to help me out. The big heads, intake, and custom cam deal seems to be the way to go now a days. How did you pick Engle for the cam? I'd be thrilled with those numbers on my 90 vert.

A friend of mine had a VERY similar combo to that in a black 94/95 vert that caught fire and he swapped it over to a red 94.
