Electric Cutouts

My buddy is interested in putting a set of these on his new SS. Are they worth it? How reliable are they? Any annoying leaks? Any brands better than others?

He isn't really looking for more power, just the ability to adjust noise levels when he wants.

I have a electric cutout on one of my turbo cars and there pretty convenient and reliable so far. No leaks on mine when its closed either,not sure of the brand.

I've installed several QTP in exhausts ive built. Havent heard of a problem with them yet!

QTP makes a great cutout! We install a lot of them on various cars and have always had great success with them. You can even get them with a remote to open and close them.
