Borrow/rent: Large 2 or 3 jaw puller

I was about to slide my 355 - T56 combo into the Z for the final time and noticed that the trans was stuck in 4th (common issue)

I'm attempting to rebuild it myself, but my large 2 jaw puller is about an inch too small. The pullers from Oreillys are joke. Does anyone here have a large 2 or 3 jaw puller a dude can rent or borrow? Preferably on the south side of the metroplex.

I need about 12.5'' of....pull stroke.

Stop by a tractor shop or a diesel shop with something if equal value.. I don't know where a guy would rent one that big.

Drilling a higher bolt hole and using a few hose clamps will make the puller that you have pictured now work.

If not reusing it, cut it off with a cutter wheel. And reuse for reinstalling new one. Or a bearing holder and press might do it

So today at the place im working I found a NIB 15" stroke puller. What a tiny miracle. I'm going to borrow it for a couple days

I'm reusing almost everything. A damn $20 part failed inside. A tiny little stamped steel key that I'm replacing with a billet one.
