I am being told by Firestone(yea I know) that the oem part from Ford is $609.00. Does this sound right for a fuel pump assembly?Total is $1298.00 for pump and fuel filter. Benn doing business with them 16 years and this is the first time I feel ripped off. Have had 2 back sugeries so doing it myself was out.

Yea I understand that part. Bought the car from my brothers wife when he passed. Keep it in the family thing. Has 56000 miles on it. I cant drive it much anymore due to my back. It kills after about 30 minutes. Appreciate all the info. RichardOriginally posted by BradM View PostComment

It sounds right for Firestone's parts mark up. If they're actually getting that pump from Ford, they're paying about $400 for it. If their cost is under $250 or so on a part, plan on a 100% markup.Comment
