Since its a 20 plus year old car get some suspension on it you by package deals now days with control arms, springs and struts etc. That will really give that car a new feel and make it safe to drive at high speeds. Motor get some heads(aluminum) typhoon or edelbrock rpm intake maniflod, full exhaust and cam that has a good rpm range that matches your intake choice. Trans if its an auto get converter and shift kit and if its a 5 speed get a shifter. Or leave the mtotr stock and by a good supercharger/turbo kit and get it installed
Equal length header will make more power then a longtube header on a stock fox.

Will a long tube make more then stock? Sure.

True, they're a great header for the price.

But I wouldnt put them on a stock heads cam intake.

If he plans to get GT40s or an aftermarket head then sure, equal length is the way to go.

It all depends on the diameter. Anything that increases flow, while preserving velocity to aid in scavenging, will make more power. Long tube headers have smoother transitions and therefore increase flow. Go too large on them though, with a stock cam, and you will kill the scavenging effect.

Spend the money on the bbks they great for the price. The summit stuff is just that...cheap. I haven't read any articles but ihave done all of the above stuff and long tubes make a noticable difference in torque (due to scavaging effect) for a street car get a 2400 to 2800rpm.converter for an aod trans

the cutout and valve covers seal the deal, the biggest bang for the buck! imo!

i figured the longtubes are basically going to make it a custom exhaust so i might as well throw some cutouts on there. and im going to leave whatever cat back is on there right now on for awhile even if its a blowmaster, then either get some spintechs, hookers, borlas or morosos
