ported gt40 heads, cobra intake, and 3/4 racing cam. That will make you run 8's in the 1/4.

Leave it stock and add a bottle. 1.7 rockers, gears..... Don't waste time or money on porting the heads- unless you are just talking about gasket matching. E cam and stage 2 are not even comparable cams. Don't worry about an intake until tou have better heads and GT-40's are not even worth the trouble. If it is an auto add a converter.

Those wheels are heavy and will really slow you down. I suppose I could take them off your hands though, in exchange for some beat up chrome ponies I have.

Hey, excuse all the other fucks here that are giving you shit. First off, what year model car is it? Obviously 87-93, but more importantly is it an 87-88, or 89-93?

                Next...basics.

Gears - 3.73's are the way to go to make a streetable hot rod with the 5.0's. Second, longtubes, offroad H/X(H sounds better on the 5.0) and a catback. Short throw shifter if it's a stick, or a stall/shift kit if it's an auto. Suspension items are also a must. Even though it's a low mileage car, the suspension is probably still worn from years of service. Start with the basics, and give us a bit of details on the car. Welcome to the board and fuck anybody that has posted bullshit in this thread that hasn't been here as long as me.

Who is Andrew Blunk BTW? You or him? If it's you, I strongly suggest changing your internet shit to something that is NOT your name.

3.73s, 1.7rr with stock cam. control arms, headers.
you will soon find out that without a good set of heads and cam or more cubes its going to be hard to keep up with alot of newer cars now days lol.

Do not put longtubes on a stock e7 headed fox. You will loose power.

Leave it alone and learn to drive it. It will run 8s with no modifications. A high 8 atleast.

                        This.

Good suspension (rear control arms, springs and struts/shocks). Also welded subframes and torque boxes. That will make the biggest difference in track times. I'd do that with 3.73s if 5spd 4.10s if auto.

There is a lot you can do with a stock fox.

I'm working on making mine turn low 8s stock motor. Throttle body to headers.

                        Remember, hatches are heavy.

Look man long tubes will not loose power. Get gears 373 if 5speed 410's if its an auto. Since its a 20 plus year old car get some suspension on it you by package deals now days with control arms, springs and struts etc. That will really give that car a new feel and make it safe to drive at high speeds. Motor get some heads(aluminum) typhoon or edelbrock rpm intake maniflod, full exhaust and cam that has a good rpm range that matches your intake choice. Trans if its an auto get converter and shift kit and if its a 5 speed get a shifter. Or leave the mtotr stock and by a good supercharger/turbo kit and get it installed

BBK longtubes, 1.7s, Transgo stage 2, 3.73 gears, and can i get a link to a torque converter? Are BBKs a good choice of headers?
Its an 1989 GT a/t just to clear things up.
