  • Cheap longtubes for a 3V?

Anybody ever try these Auto Dynasty headers, they are cheap as hell so I'm wondering why?

I wouldn't buy them just based on the title of 8-2-1.

Pipes are a pretty decent set for the money.

Any of the really inexpensive headers I have had the "opportunity" to install or inspect have been pretty bad. Header flanges are either thin or not straight, where the welding is from the flange to the primary tube is globbed so badly that the primary ports are not even airflow, and the fitment is terrible as they like to hit all over the frame rails and underbody.

Spend a little bit more and get some BBK headers or go even better quality with Dynatech, Kooks, JBA etc.

Makes sense, they're already going to be a pain in the ass to install might as well spend a little extra and hopefully not have any more issues than normal.

I didn't want to spend a lot on headers either, so I decided on BBK LT. Been happy ever since. Along with my BBK offrd X and bassani mufflers, car sounds awesome.

It was a pain in the ass installing them though. Good luck.

I agree... We have a 10 year plan, by then my daughter will have graduated high school and off to college. We plan to buy more land off the grid and build the house we really want..

we're same boat but more like 12-3 years out kids are only 6. Can't wait to get out from underneath a somewhat large home and all the maintenance.
