Anyone know if there will be any issues with stock 302 pistons and Performer heads with 1.6 rockers and X cam?

Those are 1.90's correct? Shouldn't be an issue but it's best to clay it.

Will do. I have another question though. Do I need to get 2 sets of head gaskets? One for the clay-ing and one for the final install?

No, they're fine before any heat cycles.

Back in 01 I ran a X-cam with performer heads and stock pistons. I had to have the pistons notched for clearance. So check them.
