Installed Car Stereo now AC Doesn't Work? WTF
02-11-2011, 06:58 PM
I have no clue what the issue is, I checked the 2 connectors that I had to take off before installing my new dvd player in my car now my a/c doesn't work?
Any ideas?

Did you have to remove any of the climate controls to swap the stereo? If so, maybe you didn't plug a harness back in?

Yes, I had to remove both (there were 2 of them) but I hooked them both up correctly. I've even unplugged and put them back in...same results.
Also, when I turn the key before starting I don't hear the fan come on?? I've checked every fuse and they are all fine??

Have you tried disconnecting/reconnecting the negative battery cable? What kind of car?

Glad it's working. You could have gone a month or two without AC anyway
