  • Door pass code for 2011 Expedition

Anyway to figure out the door code for a newly bought 2011 Expedition?

A couple of forums say to look on the fusebox behind the passenger side kick wall panel.

    Displaying the Factory Set Code
    With Integrated Keyhead Transmitters

You will need to have two programmed passive anti-theft keys for this procedure. To display the factory-set code in the information display:

Insert a key into the ignition and switch the ignition on for a few seconds.
Switch the ignition off and remove the key.
Insert the second key into the ignition and switch the ignition on.
The factory-set code will display for a few seconds. It may not display until after other warning messages have displayed first.

    With Intelligent Access Keys

You will need to have two programmed intelligent access keys for this procedure. To display the factory-set code in the information display:

Place the first programmed key in the backup slot inside the center console. The key ring must be at the top with the buttons facing toward the rear. If there is no backup slot, place the key underneath the rubber covering at the bottom of the cup holder.
Press the START/STOP button once and wait a few seconds.
Press the START/STOP button again and remove the key.
Insert the second programmed key into the backup slot, then press the START/STOP button.
The factory-set code will appear in the information display for a few seconds. It may not display until after other warning messages have displayed first.

It'll also be on the control module itself, no idea where that is though! On my Town Car it was inside the driver's door. Was also on one of the deck lid hinges so you might check the liftgate.

Yep some of the vehicle had the code on the module. Some had the code in the owners manual from the factory on a card.
          Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot

My ford vehicles have always had the code on a card inside the cover of the owners manual slip cover. Didn't know about all those other locations, good info.

There's a fuse box behind the passenger kick panel. Remove the cover and there's a white sticker with a bar code and the factory keyless entry code.

At least that is where it is located in my F150.
