It has Eibach Sportlines, but it needs to be a little lower. I want to keep the isolators and was wondering if it would be a good idea to heat the springs and have some blocks for it to rest on once it lowers... Anyone ever done this?

ditch the isolators and/or rotate the spring so the "hook" is at the rear
rear springs are easy enough to at least try it without the isolators

Are the springs new? New Isolators? They will probably settle some, if you still need to adjust you can cut them as Rodney suggested, this will cause the rear rate to go up slightly, if the car oversteers you can run a smaller rear bar to get it back in line. Keep an eye on the pinion snubber and/or rear bump stops.Interested in being a VIP member and donating to the site? Click here http://dfwmustangs.net/forums/payments.php

You could also go with the MM adjustable lower control arms and not screw with spring rates or anything like that. I screwed around trying to get mine perfect forever and trying to do it any way other than all the suggestions to just buy the right parts... I ended up spending more time and money and wished I had just done it right the first time. Don't cut the springs, buy the right control arms. Also, don't torque the bolts on the arms without the weight of the car on the tires as you'll cause bind.Originally posted by stevoNot a good idea to go Tim 'The Toolman' Taylor on the power phallus.

If you're just trying to adjust the rake, and the rear coils do not have room to turn, you can try turning the fronts the opposite way to make them level. Of course, that will bring the front end up some.
You could also just buy a few big paving stones and put them in your trunk.. At a minimum it may make the rears settle a little more.
