1 vote for the ram 900 with flywheel and throwout bearing. I have a aluminum quadrant if you want it just pay shipping or pickup in grapevine. New never used bought it for my 92 and should be the same

Thank you! I think the quadrant is already aluminum, though. Ram900? That's pretty pricy , isn't it? I might as well replace it with another Spec. I'm trying to spend less than 200.

Well, guess I'm back here again since I geico totaled my daily.....
Anyway, I guess I forgot how stiff the clutch was because when I turned the car on just to let it run for a bit, I decided to move it out of the garage and boy was that peddle hard to push down! Can I loosen the cable up from the firewall adjuster? If so, how the hell do I do that? I was messing with it yesterday, cutting my hand up trying to spin the damn thing but I didn't know if I should turn it clockwise or the other way. However, the car seemed to respond to what we the hell I did at the adjuster because it finally rolled in its own when I put it in 1st gear, not much but it moved more than it did before I messed with the firewall adjuster.

Sounds like your clutch cable is to tight.

I'll probably have to do it from the trans because I can't twist the firewall adjuster counter clockwise anymore.

Finally got a chance to get Underneath and loosen the cable up from the fork. I real don't know how much I should loosen it but it did the trick! The car moves more when I give it gas, now. I feel like it could be better but I don't want to loosen too much.
Also, is the firewall adjuster supposed to have a pin or a screw in it, to keep it from moving?

Not all of them had a screw down to keep them from moving. You might have scored your flywheel while the clutch wasn't adjusted correctly.

                        Clutch slip?

I figured something might have happened. I remember when this used to be a hobby. Now it's just a pain in my ass.

Edit: never mind , problem still exists. Guess it might be the clutch...
