I am only able to get 2 degrees of caster out of my fox with sn95 arms and 94-95 spindles, sn95/99 cars seem to be able to get up to 6 degrees of caster, does anyone know where the differences is, did ford mount the strut towers further back to gain more caster or did they move the a-arms/balljoint forward with the k-member?

I don't know the answer but I bet you could call the Maximum Motorsports Tech line and they'd know, since I am sure they've investigated and designed for every contingency and combination...

How are you measuring the caster?

One thing we did is slot all of the mounting holes on the K-member and slide it forward as far as possible. It is a lot of work, but I don't know what else you can do unless you want to get some non-OEM control arms which may not be legal for CMC.

How much caster are you getting out of your car?

3.2 and it had about 2.0 before we slotted the holes according to the print outs. Same basic setup. SN control arms with SN spindles. I've never understood how they measure caster though. How does the alignment machine know where the center of the lower ball joint is vs. the top of the strut mount?

You turn the wheel each direction when the car is being aligned, thats how you can find the caster.
