  • coil over

So I went ahead and purchased a UPR front coil over kit but it seems to be missing something, I can't imagine that the sleeve just sits there like this....is this correct or am I missing something, there is also a lot of space between the sleeve and the strut

That's the way mine was, made some racket so I put an O-ring on the strut and slid the coil over sleeve down over that.

So it just sits there on the strut mount brackets?? Seems kind of weird

Mine has a notch that drop down around the strut mount to keep it from turning, but other than that, yep, just sits there

Notch it with a grinder and you can always drill and tap a few hole up near the top and run some set screws in to keep it from "flopping" around.

Also, are those Bilstein struts? The UPR site says they will not fit Bilsteins.

Yes they are, maybe that's why it's loose

This is why I went with MM, perfect fit on the Koni's, notched, no rattle at all. But yes, from what I've seen before that looks about right for the UPR.
