  • Looking for a 4.6L and TR3650.

Picked up an engine, now I am looking for the TR3650. I wouldn't even be opposed to a 99-01 T45 if the price was right.

If you aren't trying to build a race car, I have a 3650 that works but has never liked to be shifted into 3rd over 5500 rpm. It doesn't grind, it just gets locked out.

Form what the guy told me, this one has the same issue. I wouldn't mind risking it, but the car has long tubes. Thanks for the offer though.

I've got a 4.6 short block with a spun bearing taking up room in the garage if it's any help.

I got this mustang that I am working on off from there. Guy didn't even know there was a forum. Of course this guy decided that his cold air intake wasn't cold enough in the fender well, so he used 3" sewer pipe to extend it all the way down to the fog light, then ran through deep water....

Really looking for something that I can just slap my heads on and go. Thanks though.

We got a 4.6 from a Lincoln when Leah's son spun a bearing, from LKQ. Under 50k miles for a good price.

I will likely wind up going to a junkyard for one, just seeing if a member had something lying around. I'm mainly after the transmission.

Pretty much. The engine that's in it now has LKQ tags all over it. Clean as a whistle inside, probably would have lasted longer than the car if it hadn't been hydrolocked.

What's a good price? They wanted $650 for a "B" condition Chevy tailgate. Seemed a little high to me but I dunno

They are consistently the highest priced junkyards in the metroplex. They have good parts and a good reputation, but I could completely rebuild my long block for less than what they want for a used engine.

Thanks for the offer, but I really need something with a good rotating assembly. Already have most of the bolt ons for it.
